Founded in the spring of 1980 Zziplex Ltd. Terry was able to capitalise on his experience of breaking the British Casting Record several times during the late sixties and seventies.
Every single rod produced by the factory is made by Terry himself, making him the biggest single influence on the casting and fishing scene in the U.K. His creations are much copied but never emulated and can be seen at every saltwater or casting venue.
Anyone who has owned a Zziplex rod in the last 30 years is usually a convert.
With so many outlets throughout the world to take care of, blanks are sometimes much harder to get hold of. Luckily they are always worth the wait.

1. THE MATCH RODS, Profile Match,New Profile (Evo) GT, Primo Match, GSI, 4500S, HSM, M4 Hi-flex match ,New M4 GT and the **new Bullet Hi-Flex and the Bullet GT, Zeteque TXL GT, going up from softest to the most powerful. All these have a flexy glass tip.**
2. THE ALL ROUNDERS, Long LT14 (14ft), shorter 13.2in Primo Synchro classic and the new Equal length Primo Synchro and XL (long butted) version. TF 50/50, The equal length slimmer M4 and slightly more powerful HST and the ZTI (equal length)New FULL TOURNAMENT. These are J curve rods. **
3. THE HI-FLEX VARIANTS, giving a “C” curve, M4 Hi-flex, Primo Hi-flex, LT14 Hi-flex ,M427 Hi-flex, and the NEW Bullet HI-Flex so the same power but a more through action (easier to load) **
4. THE EVO's (High Modulous versions) which are 20% more Powerful than the Standard rod - HST EVO, LT14 EVO, M4 EVO, New M4 GT, PROFILE EVO,PROFILE GT, ZETEQUE EVO, ZETEQUE GT, etc. **

Our Hi-Viz tip
We are building the majority of our stock rods now with a unique HI-VIZ TIP. Orange whipping to the top 3 rings aids bite indication in Daylight matches and stands out at night against a dark sky. We are also incorporating Shrink tube either side of the spigot. Our rods are easily identifiable on any beach for their unique markings and decals.

New Uk Hooks Coasters - 5 sizes- 4 COLOURS -NEW GOLD
Our own anodized coasters in 4 x colours and now 5 sizes.I made these because the mainstream suppliers have raised the prices even though all pieces are sourced in this country. RED, BLACK OR ROYAL BLUE and NOW GOLD N.B.* I use thicker foam than other manufacturers ! making them more durable.
I have added another size for the larger butts, size 31mm. I have had these made to fit over the 28mm fuji reel seats because the 30mm are too small. (see moveable reel seats (Rod build & shrink, Accessories))
They will also fit better on the ZF 250, Bullets, Zeteque etc. size butts, where the 30mm are a bit too tight for the larger footed reels.
