Problems with your cart?
Most e-commerce websites use 'cookies' which are small files stored
on your computer holding information such as what is in your shopping
cart. If you have your internet browsers 'Privacy' settings set
too high, then the shopping cart will not function. In Internet
Explorer simply go into the 'Tools' menu, then choose Internet 'Options...'
A window will pop up and you then need to choose the 'Privacy' tab.
now you just need to lower your settings to 'Medium High' as shown
below. if you continue to have problems then it is possible you
have a third party application (such as Anti-Virus or Firewall)
which is overriding this option and causing the cookies to be blocked.
How do I place my order?
You can place your order online using our secure server, by fax,
quoting your debit/credit card details, by email or by mail. Our
address and telephone details are on the UK Hooks contact page.
How can I pay?
We accept most major debit/credit cards or personal cheques if you
have a UK bank account as well as Postal Orders or even cash if
registered.
What currency can I pay in?
Our products are priced in GB Pounds, which is what we prefer. If
you need a quotation in another currency then please e-mail mike@ukhooks.com
for a quotation.
How safe is my payment?
Our credit card services are provided by Worldpay plc, the largest
bank approved internet payment processor in the world. Worldpay
manage and operate a complete range of payment systems, all delivering
world class solutions. The service is fully secure and bank endorsed,
and utilises a range of industry standard and WorldPay unique security
and fraud prevention systems, combined with fault tolerant secure
server networks and firewalls. The activities of WorldPay are focused
solely on the secure electronic collection, management, accounting
and payment of money.
The prices look great, but what about the
delivery charges?
Our postage & packaging is charged at £4.50 to the UK,
regardless of how many products you buy. We have negotiated a 10kg
price for the Channel Islands & Eire of £17.50 please
email for this service.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
We aim to carry all products in stock for immediate delivery. If
an item is temporarily unavailable you will be informed by e-mail
and offered an alternative if available.
What if I am disappointed?
We feature photos and descriptions of our products on the Internet
and in our 28 page catalogue and hope that you can clearly see what
you are ordering but if the product does not come up to your expectations
we would be happy to exchange it or give a complete refund.
Do you pass on my details to other companies?
Definitely not. We value our privacy, and we know that you do too.
